About
My name is Amber Newman
I am a Master's student of Cognitive Neuroscience & Neuropsychology at the University of Manchester, and hold a 1st Class BSc in Psychology (Cognition & Neuroscience) from Nottingham Trent University!

My Interests
My dissertation from my final year at NTU focused on Multisensory Integration, Ageing and Depression. This project was inspired by my strong interest in ageing research, and the cognitive mechanisms behind it.
During my time at NTU, I was a voluntary research assistant for an upcoming publication about Motion Luminance with Dr. Louise O'Hare. For this I gained experience using EEG equipment and good ethical practice.
My upcoming dissertation for my Master's at UoM will be on the topic of Paranoia, Schizotypy, and Belief Management with Dr. James Gileen.
